About this part
The air filter is the first line of defense for both your therapy air and your machine. This ultrafine white/blue filter sits in the machine’s filter slot:
- Traps dust, pollen, and debris — cleaner air into the machine and to you.
- Protects the motor — a clogged or missing filter lets debris into the blower, which can damage the motor and lead to costly repairs; regular changes prevent this.
- White side out — the white side faces outward, so it’s easy to see when it’s dirty and needs changing.
- Disposable — replace about every month, or sooner if it looks dirty or discolored (don’t wash and reuse).

Note: this filter is for the S7 / AutoSet Spirit / VPAP III generation. The newer S8, S9, and AirSense/AirCurve 10 & 11 machines use different filters — this one won’t fit those.
