Conditions of Use
These are the terms you agree to when you order from Task Supply Corp — online, by phone, or in the store at 1861 Flatbush Avenue. They are written to be read, not to be got past.

We supply home medical equipment. We are a supplier, not a medical practice: we do not diagnose, we do not prescribe, and nothing on this site is medical advice. What equipment is right for you is a decision for you and your doctor.
Placing an order
- You must be 18 or older to order.
- An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we accept it — when we confirm it or ship it, whichever happens first.
- We may decline an order. Reasons include an item being out of stock, a pricing error, an address we cannot deliver to, or an item that requires a prescription we have not received.
- Give us an address and phone number we can actually reach. Most delivery problems start here.
Items that need a prescription
Some equipment cannot be sold without a valid prescription from your treating physician, whether you are paying yourself or using insurance. Where that applies, the product page says so. We will not ship such an item until we have the prescription, and we will tell you if we are waiting on it rather than leave your order silently unfilled.
Prices and availability
- Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
- Stock shown on the site is our best information, not a guarantee. If something sells out after you order, we tell you and you are not charged.
- Obvious errors. If an item is listed at a price that is clearly wrong, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will contact you, and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- Sales tax is applied where the law requires it. Most home medical equipment is exempt in New York; some items are not.
Payment
Payment is taken when the order is placed. For equipment supplied through insurance, we bill your plan and you pay only your share — described on the insurance page.
Delivery
Five to ten business days, depending on stock and the item. Large equipment we deliver and set up ourselves across the five boroughs of New York City; smaller items ship further. Full details, including what we need from you for a large delivery, are on the shipping and delivery page.
Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have been paid in full — except rented equipment, which stays ours.
Returns
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. We do put it right if we sent the wrong item, if it arrived damaged, or if it was faulty out of the box. This is set out in full on the returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Rented equipment
Hospital beds, wheelchairs and oxygen concentrators are commonly rented rather than sold. Rented equipment remains our property until the rental converts to ownership under your plan's rules. Look after it, do not modify it, do not pass it to anyone else, and call us to collect it when you no longer need it.
Insurance
Where we bill your plan, you authorize us to do so and to receive payment directly, and you authorize the exchange of the medical information needed to process the claim. Coverage is decided by your plan, not by us. You remain responsible for any deductible, coinsurance, or amount your plan does not pay. We tell you in writing what your share will be before anything is ordered.
Warranty
Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. We handle warranty claims for you rather than sending you to the manufacturer. Beyond that warranty and the rights the law gives you, we make no further guarantees about the equipment.
Using this site
- The text, photographs and layout on this site are ours or used with permission. Manufacturer names and logos belong to their owners and are used to identify the equipment we supply.
- Do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, or to extract its contents in bulk.
- We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or never go down.
Your privacy
Health information is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains what we hold, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
If something goes wrong
Call us first — (718) 735-3400. Most problems are settled in one conversation. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited, including rights regarding goods that are faulty or not as described, and nothing here affects the protections of Medicare or Medicaid beneficiaries.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York. Last updated September 2026.
