The AirMini is small enough to fit in a hand — which means there's no room for a traditional water chamber. ResMed solved that with HumidX: a small cartridge that sits inline in the AirMini's tubing connector and works passively. As you exhale, the membrane captures warmth and moisture; as you inhale, it gives that moisture back to the incoming air. No power, no water, no refilling.
This is the F20 version — designed for use with the AirFit F20 full face mask setup on the AirMini. It's a consumable: humidification performance drops as the membrane loads with use, so it's replaced roughly every 30 days (sooner in some conditions). Buying a 3-pack covers about three months; a 6-pack covers about six.

Fit the HumidX into the AirMini tubing connector as shown in the AirMini user guide, and make sure it's fully seated. Do not wash the HumidX — it isn't cleanable, and washing damages the membrane. Replace it approximately every 30 days, or sooner if humidification feels reduced or the cartridge looks soiled or discolored. Store spares in their sealed packaging in a cool, dry place, and keep the cartridge dry before use.
How does it humidify without water? It uses a heat-and-moisture-exchange membrane that captures moisture from your exhaled breath and returns it on your next inhalation — no water, no power.
Which setup is this for? The AirMini travel CPAP used with the AirFit F20 full face mask. Other AirMini masks use different HumidX versions.
