When you use humidification, warm moist air travels down the hose to the mask — and if the hose is cooler than the air, moisture condenses inside it. That's "rainout": the gurgling, spitting, or pooling water that wakes people up. Heated tubing solves it by warming the air along the whole length of the tube, so it reaches the mask at the intended temperature without condensing.
The ClimateLineAir 11 does this in concert with the Air11's Climate Control: together they hold a consistent temperature and humidity from device to mask, which you can set for comfort. It's the piece that makes "set it and forget it" humidification work, and it's especially valued by anyone who runs higher humidity, keeps a cool bedroom, or has struggled with rainout on a standard tube.
Generation matters. The ClimateLineAir 11 (39102) is designed for the Air11 series. It is not interchangeable with the Air10 ClimateLineAir tube (37298) — the connections and design differ by generation. Match the tube to your exact device.

The ClimateLineAir 11 (39102) is for the AirSense 11 / AirCurve 11. The Air10 series uses a different ClimateLineAir tube (37298). They are not interchangeable. Confirm your device is the 11 series before ordering — the model is printed on the device — or call us at (718) 735-3400 and we'll confirm.
Wash the heated tube gently per the ResMed instructions — typically in warm water with a mild detergent, taking care not to submerge the electrical connector end (follow the user guide exactly). Air dry out of direct sunlight and ensure it's fully dry before use. Inspect it regularly and replace it if the tube or its connector is damaged, cracked, or no longer heats correctly. Heated tubes are replaced periodically like any tubing.
