Like the rest of the F30i family, it's a tube-up mask — the hose connects at the top of the head with a 360° quick-release elbow, so it stays out of the way and you can sleep in any position (great for side, back, and active sleepers). QuietAir™ venting keeps it quiet (~20 dBA).
This is the frame system without headgear — the clear frame, elbow, and ComfiSoft/AdaptiSeal cushion — for people who already have compatible headgear.
The AirTouch F30i Clear is built on the same F30i/X30i platform as the AirFit F30i and AirFit X30i: the frame geometry, magnetic headgear clips, and elbow/swivel are mechanically identical, so frames and headgear are interchangeable across these magnetic-variant masks. Your AirFit F30i / X30i headgear fits this frame.
Important caution: while the cushions may physically click across the F30i and X30i frames, ResMed has not clinically validated cross-using cushions between models — each cushion has its own venting and CO₂-washout design. Use each cushion with its intended mask.
This mask uses magnetic headgear clips. Magnets are contraindicated for some people — including those with certain active implants (pacemakers, ICDs, neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin/infusion pumps) or metallic implants/objects (aneurysm clips, stents, metallic eye fragments, certain ocular/hearing implants).
