Crucially, it does this without covering the bridge of the nose or blocking your line of sight — so you keep the open field of view (reading, TV, glasses) that pillow users like, with the coverage and stability of a full face mask. It also carries ResMed's QuietAir™ diffused venting for quiet exhalation.
One size: the oral cushion is a single "Standard" size designed to work with all X30i nasal pillow sizes (Small, Medium, Large) — so you match your fit with the pillows, and the oral cushion stays the same.
Replacement schedule: because the X30i is an oral-nasal mask, ResMed says the oral cushion (and the nasal pillows) may be replaced up to twice a month for best hygiene and seal — more often than a typical full face cushion.
Compatibility: this oral cushion is exclusive to the AirFit X30i. Note the X30i shares its frame and headgear with the AirFit F30i, so the X30i oral cushion + nasal pillows combination can be fitted onto an F30i frame in place of the F30i full face cushion.
