The AirFit N30's QuickFit™ headgear is a big part of what makes the mask so easy to live with: instead of clips and firm straps, it's a soft elastic slip-on design that pulls on over the head like swim goggles, with a split-band you can position on top of the head and simple adjustment to fine-tune the fit. It holds the lightweight cradle mask securely with minimal facial contact.
Like all headgear, it's a wear part: the elastic softens with washing and nightly use, and loses its tension over time. The usual sign it needs replacing isn't visible damage — it's that the mask no longer stays put, or you're adjusting it more to hold the seal. Fresh headgear restores the original secure fit.
Note — N30 vs N30i: this headgear is for the front-connecting AirFit N30. The AirFit N30i (tube-up, top-of-head) is a different mask and uses different headgear — the two are not interchangeable.

Hand wash the headgear weekly in warm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight — detergent residue and heat both shorten elastic life. Replace it when the elastic is stretched, no longer holds tension, or the mask won't stay securely in place.

Will it fit my AirFit N30i? No — the N30i (tube-up) uses different headgear. This is for the front-connecting N30.
