This is the complete-comfort bundle of the AirCurve 10 ST: the therapy device, the built-in humidifier, and the ClimateLineAir heated tube together — so you have everything for humidified, rainout-free therapy out of the box, without sourcing the heated tube separately.
A bilevel device delivers two pressures — higher on inhale (IPAP), lower on exhale (EPAP) — making exhalation easier and providing pressure support to assist each breath. The "ST" (Spontaneous/Timed) mode adds a backup respiratory rate: the device follows the patient's own breaths, but if a breath isn't taken within a set interval, the timed backup delivers one automatically. That matters for people whose breathing drive is reduced or unreliable — for example in certain neuromuscular conditions, hypoventilation, or forms of central sleep apnea — maintaining a minimum breathing rate.
This is fundamentally different from CPAP. It's a clinician-prescribed and clinician-titrated therapy for specific confirmed diagnoses. The added ClimateLineAir heated tube warms the air along its length to prevent condensation "rainout," working with Climate Control for consistent temperature and humidity to the mask.
