This is the complete-comfort bundle of the AirCurve 10 ST-A: the therapy device, the built-in humidifier, and the ClimateLineAir heated tube together — everything for humidified, rainout-free therapy out of the box.
The AirCurve 10 ST-A builds on bilevel ST therapy — two pressures (IPAP/EPAP) plus a timed backup rate — and adds ResMed's iVAPS mode. Rather than delivering fixed pressure support, iVAPS targets a set alveolar ventilation and automatically adjusts the pressure support, breath by breath, to maintain it as the patient's needs change; it also learns the patient's breathing to set an intelligent backup rate.
This makes it suited to non-invasive ventilation (NIV) for people with significant hypoventilation — for example advanced neuromuscular disease, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, or COPD-related hypoventilation — where maintaining adequate ventilation is the goal. It's substantially more capable and complex than CPAP or a standard bilevel, and is entirely clinician-configured for a confirmed diagnosis.
This is the cellular version — a built-in modem transfers therapy data automatically to the care team (for a non-cellular alternative, the Card-to-Cloud version is 28285). The added ClimateLineAir heated tube prevents condensation "rainout," working with Climate Control for consistent temperature and humidity to the mask.
