The DC power supply lets the SimplyGo run directly from a vehicle's 12 V outlet — so on a long drive the device runs off the car rather than draining its battery, and you arrive with the battery still charged for wherever you're going next.
It plugs into the vehicle accessory (cigarette-lighter) socket on one end and the SimplyGo on the other. Using the genuine Philips DC supply ensures the correct voltage, connector, and current handling for the device — important with vehicle power, which can be electrically noisier than mains.
Note this is the DC cord for the SimplyGo — the SimplyGo Mini is a different device and uses its own accessories.

Connect the DC supply to a working vehicle 12 V outlet and to the SimplyGo as described in the user guide. Route the cord so it can't be trapped, pinched, or become a trip/entanglement hazard in the vehicle. Follow all oxygen safety guidance — keep the equipment away from smoking, open flame, and heat sources, and keep the device's air intake and outlet unobstructed. Don't leave the concentrator running in a hot parked vehicle. If the vehicle outlet only supplies power with the ignition on, plan around that on long stops.
